NUNDA — A Livingston County man was arrested on Tuesday by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office for forcibly touching a teenager.
According to a press release from Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, Taylon Palmer, 22, was charged with Forcible Touching, an A misdemeanor.

It is alleged that Palmer had touched the intimate parts of a 14 year old female.
According to Penal Law section 130.52, a person is guilty of Forcible Touching when a person intentionally and for no legitimate purpose forcibly touches the sexual or other intimate parts of another person for the purpose of degrading or abusing such person; or for the purpose of sexually gratifying the actor’s sexual desire.
The initial investigation was handled by Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Yencer of the Road Patrol Division. The follow up investigation and arrest were handled by Investigator Gene Chichester.
Palmer was arraigned in Nunda Town Court before Judge Mann and was remanded to the Livingston County Jail on $500.00 cash or $1,000.00 bond. Palmer is due back in Nunda Court at a late date and time.
