Numerous childern at the site of York shooting

YORK — At the location of the York shooting last night there were a number of children at the scene, none of which were injured.

The GeneseeSun.com spoke with the mother of two of the four children that were there, and she is grateful her kids are safe.

“I was so disgusted, I didn’t even know what to do,” said the mother. 

According to the mother, there were four children under the age of 6 at the scene when the shooting occurred. Her children were apparently there with their father, who was visiing an acquaintance.

At this point, due to circumstances surrounding the shooting, the GeneseeSun.com is withholding the names of those at the scene.

The shooitng occured yesterday at approximately 9 p.m. at 2576 Telephone Road in York.  The shooter then allegedly fled north towards the City of Rochester.  The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
