DANSVILLE — An ordinary conference room at Noyes Health was filled to capacity as over forty community members participated in the “Manage Your Knee Pain and Enjoy an Active Lifestyle” seminar.
According to a press release from Cynthia Oswald, Director of PR/Marketing at Noyes Health, Dr. Robert Capecci and Dr. Kevin O’Keefe, specialists in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, facilitated the talk sponsored by Orthovisc. Mike Donegan, Director of Physical Therapy for Noyes Health, was also available to answer questions from the audience.
Discussion mainly centered around osteoarthritis of the knee, its symptoms, and available treatment options.
The seminar ended with a question and answer session, allowing attendees to ask a number of timely and relevant questions about the treatment of knee pain.
According to the Arthritis Foundation, more than 27 million people in the U.S. have osteoarthritis, with the knee being one of the most commonly affected areas.
Oswald added that Noyes Health looks forward to offering more of these informational evenings for the public on specific health and medical issues.
