LIVINGSTON COUNTY — An accused bank robber on the run from authorities in North Carolina was caught in the County.
According to ABC11.com, Frisco Brown, 24, was charged with the armed robbery of a First Citizens Bank in July of 2012 in Clayton, NC. Brown allegedly presented the teller a threatening note and left unsuccessfully, fleeing on foot.
Brown was then held at the Johnston County Detention center on a secured bond of $61,500.
Brown appeared in front of Judge Robert Wiggins with his court appointed lawyer, John Darpino, where after a lengthy discussion Brown waived his right for an extradition hearing.
Brown, had an altered appearance from his original mugshot by dying his red hair black and growing it out into a pony tail.
After court Brown declined to comment as to how he ended up in Livingston County.
