LIVINGSTON COUNTY — The 133rd New York State Assembly candidates recently participated in a joint Q & A on the radio show Livingston Online at WYSL 1040 AM, hosted by Joe Lasky.
Republican candidates Bill Nojay and Richard Burke, who are facing each other in this Thrusday’s Republican caucus, cleared the air on a variety of topics. The winner will face the Democrat nominee Randy Weaver who also participated in the Q &A.
The candidates expressed some very clear differences of opinions in the Q & A. Nojay is clearly pro hydrofracking, while Burke stated that he is still cautious about it and wants more information.
Nojay was very vocal that the state is out of control with fiscal spending and needs to be reeled back in.
Candidate Weaver provided ideas for some price cuts to Medicaid that could immediately save taxpayers money.
For voters this Thursday, the Q & A session is available at http://archives.warpradio.com/wysl/files/LOL/20120908.mp3
