No Paper Bags at Wal-Mart After Jan. 18

Walmart recently announced it will no longer provide paper bags to customers after Jan. 18.

Wal-Mart has made paper bags available to customers for five cents each, or customers could use reuseable more-than-one use bags which Wal-Mart (and other vendors) sell.

In 2019, Walmart stopped using plastic bags when New York State outlaw their use, and started offering paper bags at five cents each. However, as part of their commitment to the environment they have decided to also stop using and offering paper bags at their New York State stores.
