Dansville – Dansville ArtWorks announces that Lucus Nice has joined them as Gallery Coordinator.
According to a press release from Dansville ArtWorks, Nice, a Dansville resident, served as Interim Director of the Red Cross Clara Barton Chapter House. He dabbles in visual art and has a strong background in retail sales management.
“Lucus’s nonprofit and for-profit experience is a rare combination, particularly in a smaller community,” said Nicole Aliotosaid Dansville ArtWorks president. “He has the ability to develop and build partnerships, which will be put to good use at ArtWorks.”
Nice assumed his new position effective Feb. 11.
Nice looks forward to engaging with the community in the gallery over coffee and growing the visual, literary, and performing arts opportunities throughout the coming year, particularly for students in the region.
Those with ideas or interests in the gallery, or just want to see what Dansville ArtWorks is about, are encouraged to meet Nice to share.
Dansville ArtWorks Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to cultivate and enhance the visual, literary and performing arts opportunities in the greater Dansville community.
In addition to exhibitions and performances, the gallery features gift and art supply sales as well as art workshops for children and adults at 178 Main Street, Dansville, next to Dogwood Trading Company.
