On Thursday June 20th, Troopers received a phone call alerting them to a man who was possibly intoxicated, driving a red pick-up truck with Vermont License plates. The vehicle was stopped on County Route 37 in the Town of Cohocton and the driver of the vehicle stated that he had been drinking. The driver, Michael Patione, age 40 of Wayland, was unable to complete roadside sobriety checks and was taken to the Wayland station. While there Patione was found to have a BAC of .17 % and was arrested for DWI. He is scheduled to appear in the Cohocton Town court at a later date.
