GENESEO – The National Warplane Museum announced the lineup for their 37th airshow coming up July 15 and 16.
This airshow celebrates women in aviation. Dawn Seymour, a WWII B17 pilot will be a special guest on Saturday to celebrate her 100th birthday.
The airshow always draws thousands to watch some of the world’s last flying WWII aircraft perform stunning stunts and gorgeous flybys. The planes land on the field and are available for anyone to touch and explore.
Airshow indispensables and a few fun newcomers will perform both days: three B-25 bombers; Geneseo’s favorite P-51 Mustang Fighter, Quick Silver; the F4U4 Corsair, Godspeed; the P-40 Warhawk, Jackie C; the C-46, Tinker Belle.
Jacquie B will perform aerobatics. The Misty Blues all women skydiving team will jump. L-39 jets with the Warrior Flight Team will perform.
Of course, the National Warplane Museum’s greatest treasure, Whiskey 7, will make her traditional flybys and be home on the field for tours.
