Naples Hotel Fire Quickly Extinguished Multiple Fire Companies Called

 

The Naples Hotel, a historical Main St., Naples brick structure dating back to 1895, ,sustained damage as the result of a fire which occurred about 8 p.m. Saturday night, July 16.

The fire started in the bar area, which was under renovation. New York State Police and State Troopers responded to the call, as did, Naples, Bristol and the Atlanta North Cohocton Fire. The fire was quickly extinguished.

No one was in the building at the time, and people who had booked rooms there were aided by the American Red Cross in finding other lodging.

Cause of the fire is unknown, and is still under investigation.
