NYLON — A consulting firm that works closely with Geneseo, Avon, and Dansville is welcoming new expertise into their team.
According to a press release from MRB Group, Nicholas Kochan joins their team as Senior Process Operator and Emily Palumbos as Senior Planning Associate. Kochan is the Deputy Mayor in the Village of Liverpool and a long-time member of the American Water Works Association.
“Nick has spent more than forty years working in the water industry, dedicating much of his career to the Onondaga County Water Authority,” says MRB Group President Ryan T. Colvin. “His hands-on experience, as well as his knowledge of local government operations, will enhance our already outstanding team of engineers.”
Palumbos has an extensive history in local and state government, most recently serving as District Chief of Staff for Assembly Minority Leader Brain Kolb.
“Emily brings with her a wide breadth of knowledge,” says Colvin. “She will provide our Municipal Services Team her unique perspective and talents to strengthen local governments and their ability to serve residents.”
MRB Group has done engineering and consulting work for Geneseo’s Main Street water and sewer project, the Village of Dansville’s wastewater treatment plant upgrades, and Avon’s flood prevention measures includin retention pond installations.
