MOUNT MORRIS – One of the Village’s four trustees resigned on Friday.
Aaron Galvin (R) won the 2015 election but submitted a letter of resignation Friday.
Unable to find marketplace offers.
“I want to spend more time with my family,” said Galvin. “I didn’t feel like I was accomplishing anything.”
Mount Morris now has three trustees, two of whom will be up for re-election on March 21.
Remaining Trustees are Guy Brickwood (R), Geoffrey Pagano (D) and Sonya Roberts (R).
Pagano and Roberts are up for re-election this March. Brickwood’s term extends until April 2019.
