Mount Morris Town Justice Runs for Vacant Village Justice Spot

MOUNT MORRIS – Incumbent Town Justice David Provo is running for a currently open Village Justice position.

Provo’s term as Town Justice expires in 2021. If elected, he could serve as Justice in both the Town and Village.

The position was vacated when then-Justice James LaPiana resigned on Aug. 31, 2017.

Provo asks for support at both the Village’s Republican and Democratic caucuses.

Mount Morris’ Republican Caucus is Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Veterans Building at 3 Elm Street, Mount Morris.

The Democratic Caucus is Jan. 24 at 5 p.m. at the Mount Morris Town Hall, 103 Main Street.

The election is March 20.
