Monroe County’s Latest Update

There are 41 new confirmed cases and 2 new deaths bringing the total to 174 dead of COVID-19  since Sunday, May 17.

These new individuals include:

–          1 Female under 10 years of age

–          1 Female between 10 and 19 years of age

–          1 Male between 10 and 19 years of age

–          5 Females in their 20s

–          1 Male in his 20s

–          7 Females in their 30s

–          3 Females in their 40s

–          1 Male in his 40s

–          4 Females in their 50s

–          2 Males in their 50s

–          2 Females in their 60s

–          2 Males in their 60s

–          3 Females in their 70s

–          3 Males in their 70s

–          1 Male in his 80s

–          4 Females in their 90s

Hospitalized
Of the 2268 confirmed cases, 136 people are hospitalized. 21 of the 136 patients are in the ICU on a ventilator.

Recovered from Isolation
There have been 1153 Recovered from Isolation – Confirmed cases to date.

There have been 1405 total Recovered from Isolation to date. This number reflects confirmed positive COVID-19 cases and known presumed positive COVID-19 cases.

Testing
The 3-day average of daily total test taken in Monroe County is currently at 1144 tests per day (PCR and Antibody testing).

There have been 28598 total PCR tests received to date in Monroe County.
