MONROE COUNTY’S COVID-19 UPDATE

There are 40 new confirmed cases of COVID-19  and 1 new death since Wednesday, July 1. The total deaths  is 273 to date.

These new individuals include:

–          1 Female between 10 and 19 years of age

–          3 Males between 10 and 19 years of age

–          4 Females in their 20s

–          8 Males in their 20s

–          4 Females in their 30s

–          4 Males in their 30s

–          2 Females in their 40s

–          3 Males in their 40s

–          2 Females in their 50s

–          2 Males in their 50s

–          3 Females in their 60s

–          1 Male in his 60s

–          1 Female in her 70s

–          2 Males in their 70s

Hospitalized

Of the 3674 confirmed cases, 73 people are hospitalized. 8 of the 73 patients are in the ICU on a ventilator.

 Recovered from Isolation

There have been 2901 Recovered from Isolation – Confirmed cases to date.

There have been 3221 total Recovered from Isolation to date. This number reflects confirmed positive COVID-19 cases and known presumed positive COVID-19 cases.

Testing

The 3-day average of daily total test taken in Monroe County is currently at 1042 tests per day (PCR and Antibody testing).

There have been 74557 total PCR tests received to date in Monroe County.
