Monroe County Updated on COVID-19

                                                                       

There are 70 new confirmed cases of COVID-19  and three new deaths since Thursday, May 21, bringing the total  deaths to 188.

  These new individuals cases include:

–          5 Females between 10 and 19 years of age

–          4 Females in their 20s

–          4 Males in their 20s

–          2 Females in their 30s

–          5 Males in their 30s

–          11 Females in their 40s

–          5 Males in their 40s

–          7 Females in their 50s

–          4 Males in their 50s

–          4 Females in their 60s

–          6 Males in their 60s

–          4 Females in their 70s

–          2 Females in their 80s

–          3 Males in their 80s

–          3 Females in their 90s

–          1 Female in her 100s

Hospitalized

Of the 2577 confirmed cases, 171 people are hospitalized. 15 of the 171 patients are in the ICU on a ventilator.

Recovered from Isolation

There have been 1275 Recovered from Isolation – Confirmed cases to date.

There have been 1534 total Recovered from Isolation to date. This number reflects confirmed positive COVID-19 cases and known presumed positive COVID-19 cases.

Testing

The 3-day average of daily total test taken in Monroe County is currently at 1610 tests per day (PCR and Antibody testing).

There have been 33304 total PCR tests received to date in Monroe County.
