GENESEO – The New York State Police arrested a Geneseo resident for allegedly stealing several items from Wegmans with the help of her two teenage children.
According to a press release from the New York State Police, Sarah Shengulette, 41, was arrested for three counts of misdemeanor Petit Larceny and one count of misdemeanor Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
State Police said that Wegmans’ loss prevention contacted them regarding store larcenies. The investigation alleges that on multiple occasions, -Shengulette stole merchandise with the help of a 13-year-old and a 16-year-old child.
Troopers issued her an appearance ticket for Town of Geneseo Court for a later date.
