The Miller family in front of the business which will close Aug. 1
Miller Lanes, a bowling alley in Honeoye Falls, announced on Facebook Tuesday, July 21 that, due to the Covid 19 regulations, they are forced to close Aug. 1.
The announcement was made by Brad Miller, who wrote, “It’s with a heavy heart to have to write this post. As of August 1, Miller Lanes will be officially closing due to Covid 19. Unfortunately, without a time table STILL from our government to be able to operate business, we can no longer stay in business. The building is up for sale. We would like to thank everybody from the bottom of our hearts for the support the last five years to continue a business and staple in this community that has meant so much to myself and the rest of our staff. THANK YOU! This has been a great community to grow up in and at 22 years old to have the opportunity I did for the last five years I will forever cherish but we will all get through this together….”
The building is reportedly for sale. Future plans for the Miller family were not available, other than the business will come to a permanent closure on Aug. 1.
Miller Lanes, has been a Honeoye Falls mainstay in the community for several years, and was formerly called Brongo Bowl before that. Generations of bowlers have frequented the lanes as a meeting place for fun and food in Honeoye Falls
