On Nov. 12, 41 year old Middlesex resident Denisha L. Howeth was arrested on felony charges after a domestic incident at a Livonia residence spurred an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
It is alleged Howeth became upset at the resident and damaged a door, ripped solar lights from the ground, and threw a brick at a window, according to the Sheriff’s Department. Howeth also allegedly returned the following day, while under the influence, prompting the resident to call 911.
Following the investigation, Howeth was charged with felony Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree and Driving While Intoxicated. The latter was a felony considering a previous DWI charge from 2016.
Howeth was arraigned at the Livingston County Jail before Town of Caledonia Justice Mark Riggi. She was remanded to custody of the Sheriff on the recommended bail of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond for the Criminal Mischief and $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond for the DWI.
