Michalski Wins GOP Nod for Avon Town Justice

AVON – Jeannie Michalski won the support of the Avon Republican Committee for Town Justice Tuesday night.

The final vote was 207 Michalski, 113 Janis Cole.

Michalski is a councilwoman on the Avon Town Board and lives in the Village with her two children.

She removed herself from the Avon Republican Committee and Livingston County Republican Executive Committee at the recommendation of the Livingston County Board of Elections and Elections Committee to eliminate any appearance of impropriety.

Cole, said that she will press on to November regardless.
