Menacing, Criminal Mischief, Obstruction of Breathing, Endangering a Child Arrest in Steuben County

 

 

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on May 11, 2023, deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew T. Losey, age 40, of State Route 63, Wayland, New York following a report of a domestic dispute in the Town of Wayland.  It is alleged that Mr. Losey choked a person, placed her in fear of injury, damaged property and placed a child under the age of 17 in jeopardy.  It is further alleged that Mr. Losey resisted his lawful arrest. Mr. Losey is charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, a class E Felony, Menacing in the Third Degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Resisting Arrest.  Mr. Losey was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
