CONESUS — Over the weekend an alert Livingston County Sheriffs Deputy on patrol discovered a significant marijuana growing operation.
According to Livingston County Undersheriff James Szczesniak, Livingston County Sheriffs Deputy Joseph Breu was performing routine patrol assignments when he discovered an alleged large indoor grow operation, being operated by, Joshua West, 29, located on Mission Road in Conesus.
According to the press release members of the Livingston County Sheriffs Office seized multiple plants in various stages of growth, numerous weapons, significant grow equipment and quantities of dried marijuana as well. Undersheriff Szczesniak reminds the public to report any type of drug activity they may be aware of in their Communities.
West was arraigned before Conesus Town Justice Coyne and remanded to the Livingston County Jail on $5000.00 bail, where he was later released.
