GENESEO – Incumbent Village Trustee Margaret Duff is seeking support at the Democratic caucus as a mayoral candidate.
Duff confirmed her interest in the mayorship Thursday as excitement builds towards next week’s caucuses.
Unable to find marketplace offers.
“It’s about choice,” said Duff. “I think voters should have choices in the mayor’s race.”
Duff says that no matter what, she will not run for re-election as a Trustee, saying that she is a strong believer in term limits.
Duff and Eddie Lee are both openly seeking support at the Democratic caucus on Monday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. at the Geneseo Village Building, 199 Main Street.
Incumbent mayor Richard Hatheway is running for reelection. He will seek support at the Republican caucus on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at the Livingston County Government Building at 6 Court Street.
The Livingston County Board of Elections says that members of the public can participate in a party’s caucus provided that they are members of that party and residents of the district. Members of any political party can attend any caucus but only party members can participate.
