DANSVILLE – The Dansville Police Department arrested a Mount Morris man on Friday for allegedly stealing a bank card and gradually taking money from the bank account of two elderly women in Dansville.
According to a press release from the Dansville Police Department, Shane A. Clark, 44, was arrested for felony Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and felony Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree.

Over the course of the theft, Clark is thought to have stolen over $9,800 from the two women’s account. Clark was allegedly found to still have the bank card.
Dansville Police were assisted by Officer Jeremey Blair of the Mount Morris Police Department and the Livingston County 911 Center.
Clark was arraigned before Dansville Village Justice Joshua Weidman and remanded to the Livingston County Jail on $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.
He is to appear in Village Court at a later date to answer the charges.
