LEICESTER — The New York State Police say that a Mount Morris resident was struck by two vehicles after lying in Rte. 36 early Tuesday morning.
According to a press release from NYS Police, on Aug. 9 at approximately 3:20 a.m., the State Police responded to the report of a pedestrian struck on Rte. 36 in the Town of Leicester.
NYS Police said that a 35-year-old male was lying partially in the southbound lane and was struck by a southbound vehicle. He then attempted to crawl and entered the southbound lane when he was struck by a second vehicle.

The man was transported to Strong Hospital with serious injuries.
NYS Police were assisted by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and the Leicester and Cuylerville Fire Departments.
The investigation is continuing at this time.
