GENESEO – The Geneseo Police Department arrested a Hamburg resident on on Rte. 63 for allegedly possessing heroin and driving without a license.
According to a press release from Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian, Michael Townsend, 47 was charged with misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, misdemeanor Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree, and violations including Unlicensed Operation and Speeding.
It is alleged that Townsend was in possession of heroin and had six suspensions on his license.
Geneseo Justice Thomas Bushnell arraigned Townsend and ordered him held at the Livingston County Jail on $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.
