Makenna Hughes, a Musical Theatre major from Avon, and Reid VanScoter, a Communication major from Conesus, were among the more than 1,100 students who earned a spot on the President’s List for the Spring 2020 semester at Coastal Carolina University.

Coastal Carolina University was founded in 1954 as Coastal Carolina Junior College and became an independent state university in 1993.
