Major storm to hit the region tonight

LIVINGSTON COUNTY — The regions first serious winter storm in over a year will hit tonight with predictions of 6-12″ of snow and high winds.

According to the National Weather Service the snow will start in the early evening and coninutrue through until tomorrow. Winds are anticipated of reaching over 25 miles-per-hour. Temperatures will be in the 20s.

Officials strongly discourage any unnecessary travel due to dangerous road conditions.
