VERICK — A tragedy occurred earlier today, when Michael Coyle, a local triathlon competitor, was killed in an accident during the Musselman Triathlon in the Finger Lakes.
Coyle, 38, of Rochester, struck the back of a parked SUV during the biking segment of the triathlon on Route 96A in the town of Verick. He was transported to Geneva General Hospital, where he died.
