NYLON – Local political insiders are taking to social media to extend their condolences and thoughts after hearing the news of NYS Assemblyman Bill Nojay’s passing.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of @BillNojay,” tweeted Eric Gott, Chair of the Livingston County Board of Supervisors.
“Profound sympathies to his family and all those affected by this tragedy,” tweeted Judith Hunter, Chair of the Livingston County Democratic Committee.
“I am shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Assemblymember Nojay,” said Senator Patrick Gallivan in a statement. “It was my pleasure to work with Bill in the New York State Legislature, particularly on issues and projects important to our constituents. I know he cared deeply about the citizens he served and was a strong voice for the entire community. My thoughts and prayers are with Bill’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
“It is very tragic and sad to hear the news of Assemblyman Bill Nojay’s passing,” said Senator Catherine Young in a statement. “It is difficult to imagine the grief his family and friends are experiencing, and our deepest condolences go out to them.”
