SUNY Oswego has awarded Presidential Scholarships to a select group of area students who started at the college in fall 2018.

- Rylee Lisieski of Avon, a zoology major, was awarded a Presidential Scholarship
- Maria Urriza of Caledonia, a political science major, was awarded a Presidential Scholarship
- Madelyn Smith of Avon, a graphic design major, was awarded a Presidential Scholarship
SUNY Oswego also awarded Merit Scholarships to a select group of area incoming students.
- Aleeya B. Bourcy of Livonia, graphic design major, was awarded a Merit Scholarship
- Erin M. Castrovinci of Livonia, (undeclared at this time) major, was awarded a Merit Scholarship
- Ashlyn R. Schuster of Dansville, technology education major, was awarded a Merit Scholarship
- Kennedy T. Shoemaker of Avon, psychology major, was awarded a Merit Scholarship
SUNY Oswego also announced their Deans’ Scholarship to a local student.
Danielle M. Molisani of Caledonia, who is majoring in criminal justice, was awarded a Deans’ Scholarship from SUNY Oswego. The award recognizes past academic achievement and potential for success.
Admission to SUNY Oswego is competitive. U.S. News Media Group counts SUNY Oswego among the top public regional universities in the North for 2019, and the Princeton Review includes Oswego in its 2019 college guidebook “The Best Northeastern Colleges” and in its national list of “Green Colleges.”
