LIVINGSTON COUNTY — The Healthy Communities That Care group of the Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse (CASA) wants to raise awareness about the harmful effects of youth marijuana use.
In order to do so, they asked local experts to write articles covering their perspective on the subject. Throughout this week, GeneseeSun.com will publish these articles written by Rachel Pena, Project Director for Healthy Communities that Care; Christopher Taylor, Executive Director of the Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse of Livingston County, Inc.; the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and Thomas Walters, MD, Family Physician.
This series of articles will help parents and kids understand the negative effects of the drug on kids in our community and clear up many of the misconceptions surrounding it.
