LIVONIA — The Livonia Bulldogs swam past the Mount Morris Blue Devils on Tuesday, to remain undefeted in Livingston County with the final score standing at 134 to 35.
The Bulldogs finished first in all three relays, and placed first and second in nearly every other event, while nearly breaking a record in diving.
“We’re right were we want to be” assistant coach Brett Leader said, when asked about the team’s times and training. “It’s a by-product of our main goal” Leader said, later revealing the main goal to be plaicing in the top three at sectionals.
Senior Devon Foster sprinted to first in the 50 Freestyle, with a time of 24.08. John Wilson, a freshmen, took the 100 butterfly with a 1:04, and sophmore Paul LaRue finished first in the 500 freestyle, with a 5:13. Senior Josh Lyons, besides finishing first in diving, came within a half of a point to breaking a 14-year-old school record, a considerable feat this early in the season.
The Bulldogs take on Hornell on Thursday in hopes of continuing their undefeted streak.
