Livonia: Ken went to be with his Lord on January 2, 2019 at age 81. Predeceased by his parents and 8 siblings. Survived by his wife of 59 years Sandra “Sandy” Csont (nee Pettit) and sons; William (Georgia) Csont of Livonia and Andrew (Nancy) Csont of VA; grandchildren, Henna (Tristan) Maiers, Madeline Csont, Lauren Csont, William Csont III, and Allison Csont. Also survived by siblings; Joan (Edward) Haller, Frederick (Elaine) Csont, and John (Barbara) Csont, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Ken was born on November 27, 1937 in Buffalo, NY to parents Aurel and Irma Csont. He attended McKinley High School and when in Buffalo worked for NY Telephone. After moving to Lima, NY Ken worked for Rochester Telephone Co. retiring in the late 90’s. He was a founding member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church and loved his church family dearly. Ken served in the Army National Guard for many years both in Buffalo and in Rochester, NY. He was a devoted lifetime member and representative of Union Local 1170 CWA.
Friends and family may call on Friday, January 11th, from 4-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte. 15 & 20A, Livonia, NY. A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 12th, 11am at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 5015 Lakeville Road, Rte. 20A, Geneseo, NY. Interment will be held privately.
