LIVONIA— The Livonia Girls Volleyball team won their seventh game of the season, Saturday, defeating Bloomfield in three out of four sets.
The two teams were neck in neck throughout the first set, but Livonia would pull ahead in the lead to beat Bloomfield 25-19.
Livonia started the second with a strong lead which they maintained throughout most of the set. But Bloomfield would halt the girls at 24 points while they scored on Livonia six times before surrendering the win with a score of 25-20.
Bloomfield came into the 3rd set fired up, taking the lead halfway through the period. Livonia fought back hard, eventually surrendering the set to Bloomfield 22-25.
Livonia worked hard for their win in the fourth set, gaining a strong lead early on, beating Bloomfield 25-19.
Livonia’s next game will be next Tuesday at Wayland-Cohocton, game starts at 6:00PM. Bloomfield will play at home, Monday, against Cal-Mum, game starts at 6:00PM.
