Livonia – Edward P. Shaw – July 7, 2020

 

iAt age 68, Ed passed peacefully on July 7, 2020.  He was born on October 2, 1951 in Rochester, NY to the late Charles & Virginia (Hoffman) Shaw.  Survived by his wife of 38 years, Lynda (DeVelder) Shaw and children; Sadie (Steve) Thayer of Honeoye Falls, Stacey (Tim) Simpson of Livonia, and Pam (Chris) Bartlett of Springwater; grandchildren, Sydney Thayer, Erica Retzer, Cassie Gascon, and Chelsea White; siblings, Debbie (Jerry) Bostwick, Suzanne (Ronnie) Keifer, Linda (Jeff) Leshner, and Steve (Cindy) Shaw; also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ed was known for his love of the Yankees, daily crossword puzzles, watching old westerns, reading up on history, and his dry sense of humor. Ed was a hero to us all, always giving and never expecting anything in return.  He will forever be remembered for his good nature and loving soul.
