While deputies reported many snow-related motor vehicle accidents due to the snowstorm, Livonia firegfighters reported a car fire at the corner of Densmore Rd and Pennemite Rd., Town of Livonia, on Friday evening.

The call came in at 6:23. When Assistant Chief Strong arrived on the scene, he confirmed it was a working car fire. Engine 255 arrived moments later, and extinguished the fire. Pennemite Rd. was closed between VanZandt Rd. and Cleary Rd. as the firefighters fought the fire in the snowstorm.
The car is a total loss. Cause of the fire is under investigation by the Livingston County Office of Emergency Management.
