Livingston County Administrator Ian M. Coyle stated, “As foot traffic increases on our county campuses, we continue to diligently comply with CDC guidelines in order to provide a safe environment for everyone who enters our buildings.” Some of the safety measures being taken include the following:
· Anyone entering a county building must be screened at building entrances, wear face coverings, and maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet at all times.
· Physical workspaces and common areas are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
· Several departments have Plexiglass to serve as a barrier between employees and the public.
· Hand hygiene stations are located throughout each building.
· Signage is posted in workspaces and common areas to remind visitors and employees to adhere to proper hygiene, social distancing rules, appropriate use of face coverings, and cleaning and disinfecting protocols.
