LIVINGSTON COUNTY — With divided midterm elections results, the votes of Livingston County are announced.
Following the results of the Nov. 6 midterm elections, the votes cast within Livingston County have been broken down, revealing how the county voted in comparison with the rest of New York State.
At the end of the night and a long campaign season for representative in Congress, Chris Collins took home Livingston County, defeating opponent Nathan D. McMurray by 2.36%.
For Governor and Lieutenant Governor, 558.45% of the county voted in favor of Marc Molinari and Julie Killian, instead of opponents, namely Andrew M. Cuomo and Kathy C. Hochul. Jonathan Trichter won over Livingston, receiving 50.79% of local votes for Comptroller.
Majority of the county voted in favor of Keith Wofford for Attorney General and Chele Chiavacci Farley for United States Senator. In an extremely close race, with less than 1% separating the top two candidates, Livingston voted in favor of Ann Marie Taddeo for Justice of the Supreme Court.
Mary F. Strickland was elected County Clerk and Roger A. King won County Coroner, both running unopposed.
