DANSVILLE – Livingston County Veterans Service Agency will lay a wreath at the Veterans Memorial in Dansville to the family of the young airman killed in Jordan on Tuesday.
In a press release, the Livingston County Board of Supervisors and Veterans Service Agency extended their heartfelt condolences to the family of Alexandria Gleason-Morrow, 25.
On Saturday, March 25 at 1 p.m., the Livingston County Veterans Service Agency will be laying a wreath at the Veterans Memorial on Clara Barton Street in Dansville.
The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars will be attending and paying their respects with a ceremony to honor Gleason-Morrow. All organizations and the general public are welcome to participate.
Morrow was a Dansville High School graduate and joined the Air Force two days after graduating high school. On Tuesday, March 21, Alexandria was killed in a non-combat operation on the line of duty in Jordan.
A 2011 Defense Video Imagery Distribution System video features Gleason-Morrow, then Alex Roope, as one of ‘Bagram’s Outstanding Airmen.’
The 2011 video says that Gleason-Morrow served with the 389th Aircraft Maintenance Unit.
She is the mother of two young children.
