LIVINGSTON COUNTY — The County has released a new website that features more community interaction and departmental notices.
This site was built by Civic Plus, the nations leading provider of civic websites.
“Our website was improved and is now more user friendly and accessible”, said Chairman of the Board Eric Gott.
The new site includes upgrades for the purchasing page, employment, and committee meetings, all of which are easily navigable and will be frequently updated by the appropriate department head.
“Our goal is for it to not be a static website so you will see changes,”said Livingston County Administrator Ian Coyle. “It’s meant to be more interactive for the citizens and informative for the residents.”
Some of the new features are:
-Community Calendar
-Pet Adoption page from the County Dog Control
-Automatic notification when new posts are made
A community calendar as well as as a new dog control page that includes pets up for adoption are just a few of the new features.
