LIVINGSTON COUNTY – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with local police departments to crack down on drunk driving.
According to a press release from Livingston County STOP DWI Coordinator Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, Livingston County law enforcement will be out in full force this Halloween weekend.
“First responders see first hand the devastating effects that a driver who chooses to drink and drive or drug and drive, cause,” said Sheriff Dougherty. “It truly is a ripple effect for all parties involved and everyone who loves them. We ask that you please have a plan and designate your safe ride.”
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office will be joined by the Avon Police Department, Caledonia Police Department, Dansville Police Department, Geneseo Police Department, Mount Morris Police Department, Nunda Police Department and the University Police Department at SUNY Geneseo in this effort.
