LIVINGSTON COUNTY – High winds are expected to whip through the region tomorrow.
According to the National Weather Service, a Wind Advisory will go into effect from 10 a.m. Wednesday until 1 a.m. Thursday. Winds are expected to be out of the west at 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph.
“Strong winds may cause minor property damage and localized power outages,” said the National Weather Service. “Make sure to secure any lightweight, loose items on your property including any remaining holiday decorations. Motorists in high profile vehicles will need to use extra caution, especially on north-south roads which will face the cross wind flow.”
Lake effect snow is also expected. However, no snow advisories are expected for Livingston County during this event.
