The Livingston County Center For Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking to hire qualified nurses. They are seeking a Charge Nurse ($28.22 per hour) and a Registered Nurse ($26.29). Both are full-time positions.
For the Charge Nurse the minimum qualifications are:
- One year of long-term or acute care professional nursing experience; OR 2. Two years of professional nursing experience in any healthcare setting.
- SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Licensure and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
For the RN this is a professional nursing position involving responsibility for coordinating individual patient care and for performing nursing services requiring substantial specialized judgment and skills. Work is performed under the general direction of a higher-level nursing position and in accordance with a prescribed nursing care plan. In the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, the incumbent also functions as a consultant to Licensed Practical Nurses on the care of residents.
In the County Department of Health, the incumbent performs nursing care in patients’ homes and in clinic settings. Supervision may be exercised over Licensed Practical Nurses and related auxiliary nursing personnel. A Registered Professional Nurse does related work as required.
The minimum qualifications are:
- Graduation from a nursing education program acceptable to the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
- Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse. Appropriate licensure must be maintained throughout employment.
