The Livingston County Department of Health (LCDOH) and the State University of New York College at Geneseo (SUNY Geneseo) are partnering to provide a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for SUNY Geneseo students only on Monday, April 12, 2021. The clinic, which will have available 400 doses of the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine, is scheduled to run from 11:00AM to 3:30PM at the Livingston County Conference Center, 1 Murray Hill, Mount Morris.
Appointments for the LCDOH clinic are required. Eligible students—those who are 18 years of age and older and who have not previously received a COVID-19 vaccine—must register for the vaccine clinic through SUNY Geneseo. For more information, students can visit the college’s COVID-19 Updates & Resource page.
“We are proud to partner with SUNY Geneseo on this COVID-19 vaccine clinic,” stated Jennifer Rodriguez, Livingston County’s Public Health Director. “SUNY Geneseo students represent a significant portion of our county’s population, and this clinic will allow them greater access to the vaccine.”
“The partnership between SUNY Geneseo and Livingston County DOH has been of vital importance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Denise A. Battles, president of SUNY Geneseo. “We are grateful to have this collaborative effort to help vaccinate our student population.”
