LAKEVILLE — Curious folks can meet live owls at the Chip Holt Nature Center on Friday, getting close enough to feel the power in the presence of the mysterious night birds.
Wild Wings, Inc. of Honeoye Falls will be bringing their owls for a guided hike and interactive demonstration on the birds, their habits and habitats at The Chip Holt Nature Center.
The event is Feb. 19 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Handlers will bring their live birds of prey to give participants a better understanding on how the birds operate in the wild.
Participants will also be able to ask one-on-one questions to the handlers about their birds.
The Chip Holt Nature Center is located in Vitale Park in Lakeville.
The event is free and seating is limited to 50.
