The rainfall for Geneseo was between .5 and ,75 inches, and only lasted for a few minutes. While the rain brought a refreshing break from the recent stretch of hot and dry weather, according to the National Weather Service, Livingston County is still between .5 to 1 inch below precipitation averages for July to date.
Unfortunately, the rain is expected to be absent for the rest of the week until at least Saturday, when thunderstorms are expected throughout the weekend.
