AVON — A Lima man was arrested as a result of a Joint task force team effort and charged withfelony drug charges.
Undersheriff James Szczesniak, reports in a press release, the arrest of Lima resident, Thomas Ripley, 27, on charges of Criminal Sale of a controlled Substance in the 2nd degree, a class A-1 felony and Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree a class B felony.
The cooperative investigation included the Livingston County Drug Task Force, the Livingston County District Attorney and the Ontario County Sheriffs Office.
Ripley was arraigned in Avon Village Court by Judge Torregiano and remanded to the Livingston County Jail held on $100,00.00 cash bail / $200,000.00
bond. Ripley is scheduled to appear in Avon Village Court at a later date.
Further charges are pending as the investigation continues. The Undersheriff commends the efforts and intensity the task force has put into
this investigation and the impact they are making on drug trafficking in Livingston County.
