LIMA — On Oct. 26, Frederick R.A. Cavallaro, 45, of Lima, was arrested for violating the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law, as well as felony Driving While Intoxicated, considering he had a previous DWI related charge from 2015.

Following a routine traffic stop, Deputy Micheal Wade suspected Cavallaro of being under the influence and proceeded with a roadside investigation, included standardized field sobriety tests.
Upon being taken into custody, Cavallaro was administered a breathalyzer test, revealing his blood alcohol content to be .17%.
Later, Cavallaro was arraigned at the Livingston County Jail before Town of Groveland Justice Jeanean Love. The Judge remanded Cavallaro to the custody of the Sheriff on $750 cash bail or $1,500 bond. He was released on Oct. 29.
