UPDATE: Crash Blacks Out KidStart in Mount Morris
MOUNT MORRIS – Though a car accident knocked out power to KidStart Friday morning, the lights are now back on and services are expected to resume as normal next week.
No power outages are currently reported by RG&E or National Grid in the area of Groveland Station Road.
According to KidStart personnel, children arrived at 8:30 a.m. as usual, but the power suddenly went out at about 8:45 a.m. A car accident on nearby Groveland Road was responsible for the blackout.
At about 10:30 a.m., KidStart sent out a robocall alerting parents that kids were going home early. Buses arrived to take kids home starting at about 10:30 a.m.
